Starting therapy is a meaningful decision, and we’re here to make the process as simple and welcoming as possible. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, our team is ready to guide you every step of the way.
Contact our administrative team by phone at 919-589-4532 or email, or book directly through our Client Portal. We’ll help you find the right provider and schedule your first appointment at the location that works best for you (Page Road, Bentley Ridge, or even from the comfort of your own space with telehealth).
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a link to our secure Client Portal where you can complete your intake forms at your convenience (but before your first appointment). This helps us understand your needs before we meet and allows us to make the most of your first session.
Your first appointment is a chance to share your story, discuss your goals, and get to know your provider. Together, you’ll explore what brings you to therapy and begin building a collaborative relationship. During this appointment, you will complete any outstanding paperwork, informed consent will be discussed, and treatment goals will be identified. You can expect this intake appointment to take about an hour.
Based on your initial session, your provider will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. This plan will guide your work together and can be adjusted as you progress.
With a plan in place, you’ll begin meeting regularly with your provider (either in person at one of our Durham locations or via telehealth). Your provider will walk alongside you as you build resilience, develop coping skills, and move toward the life you want to live.
Your first appointment is designed to be a comfortable, low-pressure conversation. Your provider will ask about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to achieve. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for whether your provider is the right fit for you.
There’s no need to prepare a speech or have everything figured out.
Your provider is here to help you explore and make sense of your experiences at your own pace.

Our administrative team is here to help. When you reach out, let us know a bit about what you’re looking for (whether that’s support for a child with ADHD, therapy for anxiety, trauma-focused care, or something else), and we’ll guide you toward a provider whose expertise aligns with your needs.
You can also explore the Our Team page to learn more about each clinician’s background, specialties, and approach to therapy.

We offer evaluations for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
A psychological evaluation typically consists of 3 visits. The first visit is a 60-minute virtual intake session that consists of a clinical interview. The second session is generally scheduled in-person at our Page Road office. This testing appointment is approximately 2-3 hours and will usually occur on a Monday from 10 AM – 1 PM. If additional testing time is needed, an additional appointment will be scheduled. Lastly, a 60-minute virtual feedback meeting is scheduled so diagnostic impressions and recommendations can be provided.
We have two locations in Durham, NC:
Please note: Both offices are located on the second floor, accessible by stairs only. We offer telehealth appointments to accommodate individuals with mobility challenges.

We have two cats and a dog that can be made available to attend your sessions if desired. All three animals are great with children and adults. We have found that fur-baby energy can be incredibly comforting to some of our clients. If you think this sounds like you and you'd like to request these animals to be a part of your sessions, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you!
You can learn more about each animal on the Our Team page.
Please note: If you have pet dander allergies or any concerns about being around cats or dogs, please let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to discuss accommodations to ensure your comfort.
